The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman James Wisniewski to a one-year contract.
Financial terms were not released.
Wisniewski was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks by Anaheim in a four-team deal back in March.
He had three goals and a career-high 21 assists in 48 games last year between Chicago and Anaheim.
He also added a goal and two assists during the team' surprising playoff run.
Ducks re-sign Marchant
The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed center Todd Marchant to a two-year contract. Financial terms are unknown.
Marchant was an unrestricted free agent who will turn 36 during the offseason.
He scored five goals and had 13 assists for the Ducks during the regular season, his fourth in Anaheim.
General manager Bob Murray said that Marchant's leadership and presence on the ice makes the team better all-around.

Selanne to stay with Ducks
Teemu Selanne has decided that will play another season with the Anaheim Ducks.
The 10-time All-Star will turn 39-years old next week but still believes he can help the team win games.
There is no doubt that he is a shell of his former self, but there is also no doubt that he can still contribute and help the team.
The Ducks believe that he is still playing at a high level and also appreciate the veteran leadership he brings to the ice.
