The Anaheim Ducks have signed right wing Mike Brown to a two-year contract extension.
Monetary terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
The team acquired the 23-year old right wing at the trade deadline from the Vancouver Canucks.
The Ducks were looking to add some toughness to their team and found it in Brown, who helped them reach the second round the playoffs.
The team knocked off No. 1 seed San Jose and came within a couple of goals of taking down No. 2 seed Detroit.
