The Anaheim Ducks have signed defenseman Steve Eminger to a two-year contract.
Eminger split time between the Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers last season.
He compliled a career-high 26 points in the process, making good on his status as a former first round draft pick.
Drafted originally by the Washington Capitals, he played parts of five seasons in the District before heading to the Carolina Panthers.
The team also acquired left wing Shawn Weller in a trade with the Ottawa Senators.
