It took three overtimes, but the Anaheim Ducks stole a game on the road from the Detroit Red Wings with a 4-3 victory.
Todd Marchant scored his first goal of the playoffs just more than a minute into the third overtime session to send Anaheim off the ice a winner.
Joe Hiller was unbelievable in goal, stopping 59 of the 62 shots that he faced.
The series now will shift back to Anaheim for Game's 3 and 4, giving the Ducks a prime opportunity to put themselves in control and a chance to advance.
The Ducks have already pulled off their share of surprises in the playoffs, having knocked off the No. 1 seed San Jose Sharks in the first round.
