Anaheim Ducks general manager Bob Murray is in a bit of trouble after he threw a chair and accidentally hit a woman following his team's loss in Game 7 to the Detroit Red Wings.
The woman was struck in the press box and Murry immediately apologized for the mistake. The woman declined to press any charges and did not appear to be seriously injured.
However, the police did still write up a report, although it seems doubtful at this point that anything will come of the incident.
The Ducks initially refuted reports that Murray threw the chair, but the general manager later admitted to doing so.
Anaheim was just one step away from reaching the Western Conference Finals and upsetting a team for the second straight round in the NHL playoffs but came up a little bit short.
